Brent Minor
(Virginia)

Brent is founder and president of Equality Tours, Inc, a tour firm that specializes in gay and lesbian travel and tourism, with a particular focus on small group travel with specific affinity groups within the gay and lesbian community. 10% of all commissions and fees go to support gay and lesbian or AIDS-related causes.

He previously served as Director of Community Relations and Public Funding for Food & Friends, a Washington DC based non-profit which provides food and other services to homebound people living with AIDS. He also served as Program Director for the organization.

Brent was a member of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS where he also served as Chairman of the Care and Treatment Committee. He was appointed to the Council by President William Clinton, and reappointed by President George Bush. He also serves on the Alexandria Commission on AIDS. He is a member of the Board of Director for the Federation of Gay Games, and President of Team DC, Inc., the umbrella organization for 14 gay and lesbian sports clubs in the greater Washington, DC area.

Brent received a B. A. from the University of the South and lives in Virginia.
